What We Do
When learning how to record and mix, even with the abundant amount of information on the topic online, there's no better teacher than actually getting your hands on a project. We'll invite you into our Studio for 5 Days, we'll bring in a band that plays music in a genre you want to work in, and we'll walk you through the entire process of recording, mixing, and mastering a song from start to finish.
How We Do It
Step 1. Find a Time That Works for You
We'll work with you to figure out dates that would be convenient for you to attend the workshop.
Step 2. Bring in the Right Band
We'll bring in a band that plays the type of music you want to learn how to record, so everything we teach you will apply to your specific situation.
Step 3. Take You Through the Process
We'll take you through the entire process of recording, mixing, and mastering the song. You'll get to see every step of the process and you'll actually get to place mics and dial things in with our help.

Meet Zack
Zack Primrose
Hey Guys! I'm Zack, a Music Producer and Mixing Engineer. I've been recording and mixing bands for over a decade now, and it was definitely a struggle, at first, to get myself to where I was happy with the quality of the music I was making.

I didn't go to school for audio engineering, and I didn't come up in some big studio with the best engineers in the world as my mentors; I had to teach myself everything, and it took a while, but I finally got things sounding the way I wanted.
​
That's why I'm doing this Recording Workshop: because I know how difficult it can be to teach yourself how to record and mix. It took a solid 5-7 years of trial and error before I got my music to sound right, and I know it would have gone so much faster if I had someone to teach me. So I want to help you where nobody helped me, I want to help you get amazing sounding recordings as quickly as possible.

I know all the difficulties that come with working in a home studio, I know what it's like to work in a less than ideal space, and I know how to get around it all and still get great recordings.
