Hey guys! I’m Zack Primrose, a Music Producer and Mixing Engineer. I help artists like you capture, refine, and finally release the music you've been working on forever but never seem to have gotten around to finishing.

My goal in life is to bring as much music into the world as I possibly can, and that’s why I enjoy this so much. I love helping people take the music they’ve worked so hard on and turn it into something truly incredible. Seeing them light up when they hear what we’ve created together is a feeling that’s indescribable, and something I hear all too often is that they can’t believe they’re finally hearing their music “done right.”

What We Do Here
The goal here is to help you create the best music you possibly can.
Every hit track starts with the same thing: a good song. The fact of the matter is, 90% of the music that an artist writes simply won’t connect with people. Sure, all of it may mean a lot to the writer, but a personal significance doesn’t necessarily translate to the rest of the population. If you want to make an impact, you need songs that will draw an emotional response from your audience.
My job is to help you discover, refine, capture, and release the best music you have to offer the world.
When working with you on your music, this is the process I follow:

We get in a room together and you’ll play me all of the songs you’re considering recording

We’ll pick the strongest handful of songs you have based on how much they move the listener emotionally

We’ll refine that handful of songs to make sure that every one of them is the best possible version of the song

We’ll record those songs, taking care to impart the emotions behind the source material onto the tape

Those songs will be mixed and mastered in a way that accentuates the best parts of each of them
Why Choose Primrose Productions?
A lot of bands around here don't take their music seriously. They don't have the drive or the ambition to actually get somewhere with their music. They're content to play the local dive bar once a month for the rest of their lives without ever moving beyond that. When it comes time to actually release music, they're looking for whichever studio can do it for the least amount of money, in the least amount of time, and are ultimately okay with the Demo-Quality recording they end up with.

I don't settle for Demo-Quality, I don't do "Good Enough." If we work together, I'm going to push you to get the best performances you're capable of delivering. I'm going to make sure your songs are catchy and interesting, rather than the same riff going on for far too long with no variation. We are going to make a recording that can rival those of your favorite bands, and I will not settle for less.
